Job Title: Senior Prosecuting Solicitor

The Senior Prosecuting Solicitor is accountable to the Prosecution Manager for providing prosecution services. This includes adjudication, negotiation, and advocacy.

The incumbent manages a wide range of prosecution files across various levels of complexity and supervises, develops, leads, and supports subordinate staff under their control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice on legal matters related to prosecution services.
• Manage and oversee the progress of prosecution cases.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of prosecution services.
• Supervise and support subordinate staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to achieve common goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
