**Job Overview**:

As a Trainee Plant Operator, you will be involved in the delivery of pavement construction, rehabilitation and maintenance solutions that are cost-effective and environmentally sustainable. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in civil construction plant operations while working with a team of experienced professionals.

The successful applicant will be trained on various specialised equipment, including plants and machinery. You will work closely with our experienced operators to ensure the highest standards of quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental management are maintained at all times.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Attend regular training sessions at TAFE to complete a Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations;
  • Operate a range of plant and equipment safely and efficiently;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of projects that meet client needs;
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment;

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Current driver's license;
  • Keen interest in machinery and civil construction;
  • Ability to travel throughout Victoria and interstate as required;
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to work flexible hours to meet client needs;
  • Positive attitude and focus on maintaining a safe work environment;
