Job Description

The successful candidate will have a strong background in employment relations, with experience in interpreting and implementing Modern Awards and the Fair Work Act. You will be responsible for conducting workplace investigations, supporting line managers with staff performance, and developing reports on P&C initiatives.

You will also assist with delivering HR activities to the highest standard and collaborate with an incredible team of people who genuinely care about making a difference in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing day-to-day ER advice and supporting managers through employment matters
  • Interpreting and implementing Modern Awards, with sound knowledge of the Fair Work Act
  • Conducting workplace investigations with a solid understanding of procedural fairness
  • Supporting line managers with staff performance and developing reports on P&C initiatives
About You

We are seeking an experienced People and Culture Advisor with a demonstrated background in employment relations, preferably in a service sector (disability, aged care or health). You must hold a tertiary qualification in Human Resources and possess excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

Other essential requirements include a quick and enthusiastic approach to issues, high organisational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. You will also be self-directed and self-motivated, with a desire to learn and grow within our organisation.
