The Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic leader to enhance our engagement with Chief Information Officers (CIOs). This leadership role involves developing and executing a value proposition across industries, leveraging a strong network, deep technical expertise, and a strategic mindset.

Responsibilities
  • Advising Sales, Product, and Marketing teams on GTM models and strategies.
  • Guiding clients in using Salesforce capabilities to become data-driven, AI-enabled organizations.

The ideal candidate will define and build the GTM value proposition for CIOs, collaborate with enablement teams to skill up sales teams, and mobilize targeted segments of Account Executives (AEs) and Sales Engineers (SEs) to be proficient in selling to CIOs. They will also facilitate connections with Organizational Unit (OU) Leaders and their teams, design and implement a CIO readiness program, leverage their personal network to engage CIOs in 1-1 meetings and Strategic Industry Councils (SICs), and host CIO-specific events.

Thought Leadership
  • Creating and disseminating thought leadership and sales collateral tailored to the CIO audience.
  • Participating in the SE Leadership council to ensure a CIO focus in IT demos and presentations.

The successful candidate must be a current or former Chief Information Officer or Chief Technology Officer with a proven track record of success. Key qualifications include deep technical expertise, multi-cloud Salesforce experience, experience with data-driven, AI-enabled enterprise solutions, strategic thinking, excellent communication and presentation skills, and ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives. The ideal candidate should have an extensive network and respected industry presence, as well as deep industry experience in various sectors.
