Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our team at a large underground hard rock mine in central NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of underground mining equipment, including drills, trucks, and loaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair underground mining equipment, including drills, trucks, and loaders
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and filter replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues
  • Work in a team environment to achieve maintenance goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Trade qualification in heavy diesel mechanics
  • Recent experience in underground hard rock mining
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
