About the Role

As a Support Worker at Myhomecare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support services to our clients. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older Australians, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a range of domestic, social, respite, and personal care services to clients, tailored to their individual needs and preferences.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting their physical and mental well-being.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of strong relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as aged care, disability, and community nursing.
Requirements
  • Certificate in Individual Support or equivalent qualification (e.g., 2nd year Bachelor or Nursing, Cert IV in Aged Care or Disability, or Home and Community).
  • Experience working in aged care, disability, or community nursing is highly desirable.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
  • Australian Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain (Myhomecare can facilitate this at no cost to you).
  • The right to work in Australia.
