Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced CAD technician/designer to join our organization.

The successful candidate will have a professional attitude, excellent communication skills, and the flexibility to work both with a team or independently.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and prepare engineering drawings using practical CAD knowledge for land survey projects and civil engineering design efforts.
  • Work closely with land surveyors, engineers, and other designers to ensure coordinated projects.
  • Compile data and perform calculations required for preparation of plans and drawings.
  • Assist with hydraulic analysis of storm sewer systems.
  • Prepare consistent plans and engineering drawings.

Requirements

  • Self-starter with curiosity and desire to learn and grow skills and abilities in CAD.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to read, understand, and apply design standards.
  • Able to work in teams and as an individual contributor.
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to consistently deliver best efforts in support of internal clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ year experience in civil engineering/infrastructure plan production.
  • AutoCAD experience required.
  • Associate's Degree in CAD preferred or Certificate in Drafting, or an acceptable level of CAD training.
