About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our team in Launceston. This is a permanent full-time role that will see you service, maintain and repair our modern Heavy Vehicle Fleet to ensure maximum efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, maintain and repair plant, equipment and fleet vehicles in a timely manner
  • Complete scheduled daily work tasks as directed by the Workshop Supervisor/Leading Hand in an efficient and timely manner
  • Record, monitor stock and part levels and advise any discrepancies

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Australian recognised Diesel/ heavy vehicle mechanic's trade certificate
  • Proven mechanical knowledge/experience within the automotive repair industry
  • Forklift ticket, elevated work platform ticket, working at heights ticket (desirable)

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a salary of approximately $80,000 per annum, plus up to $5,000 relocation package. We also offer career progression opportunities and a range of benefits.
