About this Role

This is a senior software engineering position within our Medical Devices division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing software for our medical devices products targeted for global markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides software development expertise for our CT Contrast Injector and other products.
  • Improves processes to enable more effective or efficient accomplishment of individual and team objectives.
  • Leads design reviews at the project level.
  • Independently plans and manages own work activities to department objectives.
  • Proactively provides technical consulting, leadership, and advice to peers and program management.
  • Mentors junior members of the team.
  • Demonstrates skill for independent analysis and synthesis of solutions for problems, exhibiting creativity, foresight, innovation, and judgment in anticipating and solving these problems.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline combined with substantial proven hands-on work experience in the field.
  • Expert knowledge within the software engineering technical discipline.
  • Expert level of coding skills in C, C++, and Python.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of object-oriented design.
  • Working knowledge and skills in software development tools - version control, issue management, and CI/CD processes.
  • Able to consistently apply complex analytical methods.
  • Strong focus on achieving goals within set timelines.
  • Ability to clearly communicate in verbal and written form.
  • Good PC skills in MS Office applications.
