Job Summary

CPB Contractors, a leading infrastructure construction company, is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our project team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our projects, focusing on safety, quality, and cost management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to a safe work culture and ensure works are delivered to legislative and project standards.
  • Review and understand construction drawings, specifications, and method statements.
  • Liaise, communicate, and plan with foremen and subcontractors to achieve target outcomes.
  • Ensure project delivery is compliant with project standards.
  • Ensure on-site works are delivered to quality standards and complete all relevant documentation.
  • Participate in and maintain cost management of daily activities.
  • Prepare documentation for procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure allocated work packages and resources are managed to ensure costs are within or below budget, and contribute to the achievement of project targets.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent subcontractor management.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to develop and maintain good working relationships internally and externally.
