Data Engineering Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineering Team Lead to lead and manage our data team. This role involves providing guidance and support to team members, participating in discussions regarding system design concepts, and evaluating existing system performance to identify areas for improvement.

  • Lead and manage the data team, providing expertise and oversight to ensure efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement systems that handle critical data sets.
  • Evaluate existing system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize operations.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a data team, with a strong understanding of database design principles and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience in developing systems to handle critical data sets, with a solid grasp of software design principles and data structures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with traders, quantitative analysts, and other software developers.
  • A degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience, with a strong background in database management and software development.
