Job Title: Heavy Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Cummins in Campbellfield. As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for delivering a first-class service to our customers, completing repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel and engine products, and ensuring adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a first-class service to our customers
  • Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel and engine products
  • Diagnose and repair various engines
  • Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies
Requirements:
  • Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, or Diesel Fitter (to Australian standards)
  • Light Vehicle qualified with Heavy duty exposure will also be considered
  • Experience as a technician in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products
  • Ideal experience in engine rebuild and reconditioning
  • Solid diagnostic capabilities with the help of systems on computers
  • Safety Focused
