Key Responsibilities- Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled and required preventative maintenance work to ensure the optimal performance of our equipment and machinery.
- Maintenance and Repair: Carry out daily maintenance, fault finding, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Installation and Commissioning: Install and commission new and old machinery, ensuring that all systems are functioning correctly and efficiently.
- Control Systems and Instrumentation: Maintain and repair control systems and specialized instrumentation, including PLC systems, to ensure accurate and reliable operation.
- Breakdown Response: Respond promptly to breakdowns and prioritize tasks accordingly in conjunction with your supervisor.
- Maintenance Notifications: Enter and manage maintenance notifications in our SAP system to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Qualifications: Hold a recognized QLD Electrical Fitter/Mechanic license and relevant post-trade qualifications or applicable experience.
- Experience: Significant experience in an industrial environment, preferably in manufacturing, with a background in fault finding with Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Skills: Ability to complete multiple tasks with varying levels of priority to minimize downtime, positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a safety mindset.
- Preferred Qualifications: Food and beverage experience.
