Cloud Network Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Network Engineer to design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing and network security.

The role involves:

  • Designing and deploying network infrastructure on cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP;
  • Implementing and maintaining network security measures, including firewalls and access controls;
  • Developing and maintaining automation scripts and tools to streamline network operations and deployments;
  • Collaborating with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate network solutions with CI/CD pipelines;
  • Managing and optimizing cloud-based network services;
  • Conducting regular network assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement.

Responsibilities:

  1. Network Infrastructure Design and Deployment: Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  2. Network Security Measures: Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
  3. Automation Scripts and Tools: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools (mainly Terraform) to streamline network operations and deployments.
  4. CI/CD Pipeline Integration: Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate network solutions with CI/CD pipelines.
  5. Cloud-Based Network Services: Manage and optimize cloud-based network services (Azure, GCP).
  6. Network Assessments and Audits: Conduct regular network assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in cloud network engineering;
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (Azure, GCP);
  • Experience with network security measures and automation scripts;
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
