About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader Technician to join our team at Ocado Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Customer Fulfillment Centre in Truganina, Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide front-line support to technicians on shift, including prioritization and allocation of workload.
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the site in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.
  • Perform advanced fault-finding to troubleshoot issues with equipment.
  • Conduct and complete repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Work to and follow Health and Safety policies, including those set by Ocado, Coles, and Australian regulatory standards.
  • Liaise with the COE/OSS team to resolve any issues or carry out planned work on the grid or any peripherals.
Requirements
  • Some technical ability and understanding relating to automation hardware and software would be preferred, but training can be given.
  • A formal engineering or trade-related qualification would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to impart knowledge effectively to others.
  • Good organization skills, able to prioritize.
  • Knowledge of control systems would also be preferred.
