We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Officer to join our Service Delivery Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of our 2.3 million members and help them achieve their financial goals.



About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position offering a competitive salary, including 14% super as standard, to help you build a secure future. The estimated annual salary for this role is around $120,000-$150,000, depending on your location and experience.



As a Senior Operations Officer, you will be responsible for leading regulatory reporting, data integrity, and process improvement initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of data within legislative timeframes. Your analytical and problem-solving skills will be essential in identifying and resolving technical issues, while your communication skills will enable you to provide training, guidance, and coaching to team members.



Your Key Responsibilities


  • Lead regulatory reporting and key events, liaising with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely data delivery.
  • Identify and resolve data integrity issues, supporting root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Drive quality improvements in member data usage across the Group.
  • Analyse and solve legislative, process, and system-based issues.
  • Provide training, capability uplift, and coaching to team members.
  • Support team members and other Senior Operations Officers as the first point of technical escalation.
  • Contribute to business improvement through Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure procedures accurately reflect best practice and are followed consistently.
  • Manage risk in line with Australian Retirement Trust's compliance and risk management framework.
  • Perform any other duties reasonably expected of you.


About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:




  • Strong knowledge of superannuation legislation, products, and services.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret relevant legislation and provide guidance to staff.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability in resolving technical issues.
  • Ability to identify and develop process improvements.
  • Able to identify, assess, and escalate risks according to the Risk Management framework.
  • Patient and able to mentor other staff.
  • Strong member focus and communication skills.
  • Calm and stable under pressure.
  • Demonstrated professional work ethic with a proven ability to adapt to change.
