Lead Finance Function in Australia

We are seeking a Financial Controller to drive our finance operations in Australia, support growth and play a key role in leadership team.

The successful candidate will report to General Manager and work closely with Group Financial Controller, taking full ownership of finance functions in Australia.

This is a hands-on leadership role involving daily finance activities, team development, senior leadership collaboration and strategic input. A focus on continuous improvement, especially in reporting and systems, will be crucial for success.

  • Lead and mentor the Finance Team to foster high-performing, positive environment
  • Partner with senior managers to drive decision-making
  • Manage month-end close, reporting, journals and reconciliations
  • Oversee tax compliance including BAS, FBT and annual returns
  • Support and oversee audits and statutory financial statements
  • Provide insights through budgeting, forecasting and modeling
  • Manage fleet security, including insurances and securities
  • Support Credit and Accounts Payable teams as needed
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting and reporting skills, commercial acumen and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. They will also be proactive, organized and solutions-focused with passion for leading and developing people.
