We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Officer, Prospective Student Enquiries to join our team at Deakin University. As the first point of contact for prospective students and the general public, you will provide information about courses, applications, and recruitment events via phone, email, live chat, and SMS.
Key Responsibilities- Provide tailored and high-level advice to prospective students while adhering to current privacy legislation and university policies.
- Ensure all enquiries are recorded, reported, and resolved in a timely manner.
- Achieve set targets in regards to data collection, call success, and attempt rate, lead generation, and conversion.
- Monitor course applications and conduct follow-up campaigns where required.
- Maintain the Future Students database and accurately record prospective student details in Salesforce CRM.
- Completion of a degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training experience in sales and customer service provision, including high-level interpersonal skills, the ability to master content knowledge across a broad range of course and policy areas, experience in operating in a high-pressure diverse environment, involving face-to-face, phone, and written communication.
- The ability to respond to people confidently, positively, and with respect while maintaining confidentiality when required.
- Experience providing services and support in a large organisation with complex structures, policies, and procedures.
