As a Field Service Technician with BTP, you will work in varied positions across Western Australia on a 2/1 or 12/9 roster. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing faults, performing scheduled inspections, servicing, commissioning, tuning, and repairs on heavy-duty equipment such as CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi mining machines.
We are seeking highly skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our team based in Newman, working across the Pilbara, Goldfields, and WA Metro regions. Our field service team operates a large fleet of custom-built vehicles to ensure our customers' machines are always running smoothly.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Australian Recognized Mechanical Heavy Duty Trade Certificate
- Experience working on CAT, Komatsu, or Hitachi mining equipment
- Ability to meet all site access requirements, including Medical, DAS, and NPC certifications
- Valid Australian Drivers Licence & HR Licence
- Valid relevant qualifications, certificates, and licences (RPLs)
- Valid High-Risk Work Licence, Forklift, and Dogging certification
