About the Role

You will be responsible for providing chair-side assistance to dental professionals in the delivery of dental services to patients. Additionally, you will assist with administrative tasks such as entering/updating patient records and other duties as required by dental professionals.

To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
  • Certificate III in Dental Assisting or a nationally recognised equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years full-time equivalent experience within the last 5 years.
  • Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.
  • Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality care to patients within a dental surgery.

About Enoggera

Enoggera Health Centre is located at Gallipoli Barracks in Brisbane, supporting Gallipoli, Victoria, Bulimba, and Damascus Barracks. Established in 1908, this modern military base spans 600 hectares with approximately 8000 members.

The health centre operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, offering primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, surgical outpatient, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical services.

About You

You will have a professional and friendly manner, enjoy interacting with patients, and assist the dental team with a range of support activities. Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and procedures, you will take pride in contributing to the cleanliness and effectiveness of a dental surgery environment.

As a respectful and professional person, you will demonstrate exceptional moral values in everything you do. You are passionate about providing dental support services and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver the highest standard of care to patients.

Estimated Salary: AU$70,000 - AU$90,000 per annum
