About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at NSW Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered care to patients, families, and carers, promoting optimal health outcomes and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop strategies to address them.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in mental health nursing, including completion of a new graduate RN program or equivalent experience working as a Registered Nurse.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person-centered care, promote patient autonomy, and respect patient dignity.
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices, and participating in continuing education.
