About the Role:

This permanent part-time position is for 75 hours per fortnight. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and play a key role in assisting with labouring duties associated with grounds & lawns maintenance and general maintenance activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for sweeping, hosing, garbage collection and disposal as well as painting and maintaining equipment as required. They will also keep the outside of buildings clean and tidy, perform other gardening duties, and have confidence using hand power tools including lawn and gardening tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sweeping, hosing, garbage collection and disposal
  • Painting and maintaining equipment
  • Keeping the outside of buildings clean and tidy
  • Performing other gardening duties

Requirements:

  • General computer skills are essential
  • A current NSW driver's license is required
  • Previous experience as a labourer highly desired
  • Trade certificate not required

About You:

  • You have a hands-on approach with a can-do attitude
  • Experience in aged care and residential facilities is desirable but not essential
  • Willingness to obtain chemical handling training
