Job Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Remote Services Operations Leader. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in remote communities across Australia.

As a Remote Services Operations Leader, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of Remote Coordinators to deliver safe, effective services aligned to our mission. You will drive strategies to expand reach, strengthen partnerships, and improve service efficiency in remote communities.

This role involves leading teams, driving business growth, innovation, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, partners, government, and funders to build trusted relationships and ensure a strong safety culture across all services.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role within a fast-paced organisation, ideally in the not-for-profit sector, working with diverse stakeholders. They will possess relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience, and understanding of principles of public health.

Key responsibilities include leading and mentoring teams, building partnerships, driving business growth, improving service efficiency, and ensuring a strong safety culture. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent interpersonal skills, strong written communication skills, and proven problem-solving ability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced organisation, ideally in the not-for-profit sector, working with diverse stakeholders.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of principles of public health.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and their leaders, respecting traditional culture, values, and ways of doing business.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a highly diverse range of people and manage a large and diverse workforce.
  • Excellent written communication skills and proven problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to travel and work flexibly as required.
  • Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
