Responsibilities:

  • Provides strategic guidance on all BU Purchasing activities
  • Develops and manages the departmental budget
  • Assists with resource and workload allocation and management
  • Coordinates with operations for purchasing requirements and trade contract flow downs from prime agreements
  • Acts as the signing authority on all contracts, waivers, and other documentation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar technical field
  • 12+ years of experience managing/purchasing/procuring work of construction Trade Contractors
  • Knowledge of risk management, DOSB market, capacity, and strategy
