Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Leader - Residential Care. In this role, you will provide leadership and supervision to Personal Care Workers, supporting Registered Nurses in their role to promote a harmonious team approach to resident care.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, person-centered care to residents, considering their cultural, spiritual, and individual needs.
- Provide nursing care to residents with complex needs, including palliative care, dementia support, restorative care, and pain management.
- Support nursing staff in assessment and care planning processes, documentation, and evaluation of care outcomes.
- Analyze risk, implement strategies, and participate in clinical handover with Registered Nurses.
- Promote a harmonious team approach by acting as a role model in coordinating daily routines and adhering to safe practice measures in medication management.
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (Div 2).
- Experience as an EEN in residential aged care or home care (preferred).
- Experience with dementia care and palliative care support (desired).
- Proficiency in decision making, critical analysis, and on-the-spot problem solving.
- Demonstrated ability to delegate and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills.
- Above award hourly rates.
- Potential salary packaging benefit up to $15,900 + $2,650 annually.
