Job Overview

The Financial Controller plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business. They will work across the full finance spectrum, focusing on group consolidations, reporting, tax compliance, and strategic projects.

This includes leading audits and ESG reporting, ensuring compliance with evolving requirements, while managing multi-currency, multi-national finance operations.

The successful candidate will also lead group consolidations across multiple entities, including new acquisitions, enhance management and KPI reporting, manage tax submissions across multiple jurisdictions, and support M&A activity, integrations, and post-deal finance structures.

A commercial mindset is essential, weighing costs, benefits, and value-add for the business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead group consolidations across multiple entities, including new acquisitions
  2. Enhance management and KPI reporting to provide sharper business insights
  3. Manage tax submissions across multiple jurisdictions (US/UK exposure advantageous)
  4. Lead audits and ESG reporting, ensuring compliance with evolving requirements

Requirements
  1. CPA, CA, or equivalent qualified accountant
  2. 7–10 years' finance experience, ideally in mid-size or high-growth organisations
  3. Hands-on leader capable of mentoring a small team while delivering strategic initiatives
  4. Strong commercial lens: able to balance trade-offs and add real business value
