Our client is a boutique accounting firm based on the Westside of Brisbane, with free on-street parking. They focus on tax and business advisory services, working with a client base of large companies and High Net Worth individuals.
They have a fantastic working environment, providing accountants with a wealth of training and knowledge.
With growth in their client base, they're seeking a Junior/Intermediate Business Services Accountant to join their team.
The Duties- Prepare compliance work for all entity structures
- Prepare financials, tax returns, BAS, IAS
- Liaise with the ATO on behalf of clients
- Perform Div7a, CGT, FBT, Payroll tax and other tax calculations
- Assist the Directors of the firm
- Utilize HandiTax, MYOB, Xero and Quickbooks
- Bachelor's degree
- Close to completion of CA/CPA studies
- 1-3 years of experience in a public practice firm
- Experience using MYOB, Xero and Quickbooks (ideal)
- Strong technical skills and ability to communicate with clients
Developing strong relationships with clients, combined with excellent technical skills and knowledge, will make you an ideal candidate for this role.
