Opportunity for Experienced Occupational Therapists

We are seeking registered occupational therapists to join our team of Practice Educators in the Department of Occupational Therapy at Monash University.
About the RoleThis is a part-time opportunity for keen occupational therapists with a minimum of two years professional practice experience since graduation. As a Teaching Associate, you will work with occupational therapy students on placements and simulated placements in various fieldwork settings.
Our team has experience working with students in aged care facilities, kindergartens, primary schools, physical and vocational rehabilitation, telehealth practice, National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) service providers, and community mental health programs in metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.
Key Responsibilities- Provide placement-based education to occupational therapy students
- Work collaboratively with the team of Practice Educators
- Contribute to the development of educational roles
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of two years professional practice experience since graduation
- Registration as an occupational therapist
- Prior experience of providing occupational therapy placement-based education is desirable
As a Teaching Associate at Monash University, you will have access to:

Please note that a Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required. Depending on the nature of the placement sites, a National Disability Insurance Scheme Worker Screening Check (NDIS Check) may also be required.
