Senior Process Engineer Role

This is a critical position in the operations of an offshore oil and gas facility, where you will provide technical expertise across process and utility systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing frontline technical support for operational issues, conducting process surveillance and risk assessments, supporting shutdown planning and maintenance prioritization, and identifying opportunities for system optimisation and performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for process engineering matters on the FPSO
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to operational teams
  • Conduct regular process reviews and risk assessments to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Support the development and implementation of process improvements and efficiency gains
  • Liaise with vendors, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives
  • Mentor and support less experienced engineers to develop their skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Chemical, Process, or related Engineering discipline
  • Considerable experience in operations support within oil & gas/refining/petrochemicals
  • Proficient in Aspen HYSYS and OSI PI; SAP PM/Meridium APM desirable
  • Deep understanding of FPSO systems, process safety, and regulatory compliance
  • Strong communication, planning, and stakeholder engagement skills
