Global Director

At Hatch, we are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Global Director to lead our Operational Readiness and Commissioning efforts across our global regions. This is a unique opportunity to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance our competitive edge.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic plans for Operational Readiness and Commissioning, aligning with our business objectives and market needs.
- Lead teams of specialists and analysts to deliver expert services to senior executives, including operational readiness, ramp-up, operational improvement support, and asset management.
- Collaborate with regional leaders to refine and implement the strategic direction for Operational Readiness, ensuring organizational capability is in place to deliver on regional plans, projects, and tasks.
- Champion the group's interests to major clients and internal stakeholders, providing ongoing direction and developmental support to the team.
- Expand the Operational Readiness business and brand into North American markets, engaging with strategic stakeholders as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or Business, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Demonstrated strong experience within a heavy industry environment, such as mining, metals, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
- Demonstrated operational experience (in a supervisory capacity) in areas of Asset Management, Operations, or Maintenance.
- Strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and a willingness to roll-up your sleeves.
- Highly collaborative, strong team orientation, well-suited to consensus in a global concern.
- Experience with project and team management, excellent analytical and summarization skills.
- Strong ability to influence and negotiate with others to obtain the best results for the benefit of our clients' projects and organizations.
- Sensitivity to client needs and the ability to establish sustainable, open, and honest relationships.
- Willingness and ability to travel across the country and internationally for work.
