Light Vehicle Apprenticeship

This apprenticeship offers hands-on training in the service and maintenance of light vehicles. You will work alongside experienced technicians to develop your skills and knowledge, while also completing formal studies at TAFE.

The role involves assisting technicians, performing minor servicing tasks, and operating electrical test equipment. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment, adhering to BMW standards.

To succeed in this role, you should have a passion for automotive and a strong desire to become a highly skilled technician. A commitment to the apprenticeship, including regular attendance at TAFE, is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist technicians with vehicle servicing and maintenance tasks
  • Perform minor servicing tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating components
  • Operate electrical test equipment to diagnose and repair faults
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to BMW standards
Requirements
  • Current driver's License or close to obtaining one preferred
  • Certificate II in Automotive or demonstrated experience ideal
  • Strong sense of self-motivation and enthusiasm with a high work ethic
  • Honesty, trustworthiness, and punctuality
