Quality Assurance Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and improve process efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years' experience in a QA role within food manufacturing or a regulated industry.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and Quality Management Systems.
  • Skills in auditing, problem-solving, and root cause analysis.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role where you'll lead quality governance activities, deliver training, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day quality activities, overseeing product control, and ensuring timely reporting of incidents.

You will conduct internal audits, document findings, and drive corrective actions to uphold site standards.

You will also support record-keeping and compliance reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through involvement in QA and site-wide projects.
