Overview

Launch Recruitment is seeking a highly adaptable and self-starting Technical Business Analyst to join their team in Melbourne for an initial 6-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, agile environment where digital is at the core of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment on objectives and project deliverables.
  • Business & Technical Analysis: Translate business needs into technical solutions and vice versa, ensuring clear communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Agile Methodology: Work in an agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative development processes.
  • Consultative Approach: Act as a trusted advisor, identifying opportunities for process improvements and offering actionable insights based on data and feedback.
  • Collaboration: Work across multiple business units, helping teams across the organization tackle complex challenges and deliver impactful digital solutions.
  • Problem-Solving & Autonomy: Proactively identify issues, ask insightful questions, and take ownership of initiatives from start to finish.

About the Role

This role requires a strong understanding of agile methodologies and comfortable working with a variety of digital tools and technologies. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, able to engage with both technical and business teams with ease, and ready to take ownership of key projects from day one.

Salary Estimate: $80-$100 per hour (dependent on experience), paid daily rate.

Requirements:

  • Digital Business Experience: Strong preference for candidates from businesses with a large digital presence, where digital is at the core of operations.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, IT, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, preferably in a digital-first environment.
