Flexible Oncology Nurse Opportunities

We are currently recruiting skilled oncology nurses with experience in chemotherapy and infusion practice to join our casual flexi crew team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work across different health service sites throughout Victoria, enjoying a variety of clinical experiences and flexible shifts that suit your lifestyle.
The key to success in this role lies in your ability to deliver evidence-based nursing care, liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure patient and staff safety. Your skills in education and support will also be essential in managing the perioperative needs of individuals and patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding their treatment options and management plans
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Minimum 1 year's experience post-registration working in oncology or haematology
- Experience in delivering and managing chemotherapy and immunotherapy infusion practices, as well as related cancer treatments
- Completion of recognized chemotherapy courses or anti-cancer administration certification
- Current IV cannulation competency and proficiency in central venous access device management
- Postgraduate qualifications in cancer nursing or chemotherapy administration (desirable but not required)
