Early Years Educator Role

We are seeking an experienced educator to join our centre's team.

The ideal candidate will be a warm, kind and energetic individual who enjoys working collaboratively with children as they learn and thrive. You will have knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and experience documenting children's learning.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday on rotating shifts between 8am and 6pm with a rostered day off once a month.

As an educator, you will be skilled in building strong relationships with families and confident in sharing information on a daily basis. You will understand the importance of collaborative relationships with children, work respectfully as a team member, have well-rounded communication skills and be committed to going above and beyond with curiosity and an openness to learning.

  • Diploma in Children's Services
  • Approved first aid qualification; anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management certificates
  • Working with Children Check clearance
  • Child Protection Qualification
  • A flexible, mature and friendly team player who is a confident communicator verbal and written.
  • Understanding of child protection responsibilities as a mandatory reporter and child safe principles
  • Commitment to a safe work environment
  • Working and contributing to a team
  • Skill and confidence in documenting children learning
  • Knowledge of key educator and respectful care practices (desirable)
  • COVID-19 vaccinated
