The Head of Cyber Risk and Response plays a pivotal role in driving operational resilience across APRA-regulated industries.
This leadership position collaborates to deliver initiatives that enhance cyber and technology risk management practices, ensuring effective supervision activities are targeted and efficiently delivered.
As a member of the APRA Leadership Team and Non-Financial Risk Leadership Team within the Cross-Industry Risk Division, this role is critical to delivering APRA's mandate and corporate plan in partnership with frontline supervision, cross-industry risk, and policy teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational resilience practices.
- Lead the implementation of work programs to drive significant uplift in cyber and technology risk management.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure effective, targeted, and efficient supervision activities.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cyber and technology risk management, as well as experience in leading high-performing teams. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
