Job Title:

ICT Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ICT Director to lead our ICT Functions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering IT strategy in partnership with senior stakeholders.

The role will see you responsible for the overall direction and management of ICT functions across Cloud, Infrastructure, Network, Security, Telephony, Service Desk and End User Computing.

As a hands-on leader, you will be responsible for coaching and mentoring the team to bring continuous improvement into the ICT function while driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of corporate goals and roadmaps for the ICT Department
  • Devise, document and maintain ICT policies and procedures that ensure operational continuity and compliance
  • Co-ordinate the development, implementation, monitoring and operational readiness of ICT Disaster Recovery Plan and Incident Response practices
  • Uplift and maintain Cyber Security best practices (eg vulnerability management) and risk management and respond to external audits and compliance reporting
  • Produce Post Incident Reports and implement required remediations
  • Ensure all corporate and statutory reporting and compliance requirements are satisfied with respect to area of responsibility
  • Manage the relationship and performance of strategic partners across ICT hardware, software, and service vendors
  • Ensure operational stability, availability and performance of all ICT Infrastructure and business systems
  • Ensure all IT services (including Service Desk) are prioritised and delivered in an equitable fashion across the organisation
  • Lead and manage large IT projects and own the ICT Architecture
  • Lead and introduce new capability platforms such as integration, data/BI, automation, workflow
  • Foster and promote a culture of commitment, accountability and high service delivery amongst all ICT Department staff
  • Supervise ICT staff and their ongoing schedule of work/priorities

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • 5+ years in an ICT Manager or IT Operations Manager role
  • Prior experience developing and delivering IT Strategy in partnership with CIO/CEO
  • Demonstrated experience leading multiple staff and external vendors
  • Experience managing IT with a high level of data security
  • Experience developing and implementing best practice IT processes, policies and procedures
  • Significant hands-on technical experience managing ICT Cloud, Infrastructure, Networks, Telephony, Firewalls, MS Suite, Cyber Security, Service Desk and End User Computing
  • Strong project management experience and the ability to drive multiple projects to closure in a timely manner
  • Strong customer service skills, personable, professional and approachable - with a flexible approach
  • High attention to detail with the ability to instil a culture committed to highest quality
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or similar
  • ITIL Certifications
  • Current Driver's License
  • Ability to pass a Police Check
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

Experience with Azure, 365 Admin, Meraki and KACE Patching & Service Management would be highly regarded. Relevant training and current industry certifications are desirable.
