The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high system availability and delivering robust long-term solutions as a System Administrator. This role involves close collaboration with in-house and client stakeholders, utilizing strong knowledge of Linux and network topologies to ensure the seamless operation of our ICT environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain day-to-day systems support and administration for stakeholders
  • Analyse and report risks as they are identified
  • Develop and improve policies, procedures, and documentation for DevOps / DevSecOps and ICT environments

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be an Australian citizen, and hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance. A strong understanding of Linux systems, networks within VMWare, and experience with FortiNet networking products are essential. Experience in managing small project teams and collaborating with users and key business stakeholders is also desirable.
