Job Description

The Sydney Opera House is seeking a talented Creative Copywriter to join their team. As a key member of the Creative Studio, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging advertising campaigns and social media ideas.

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating their writing skills and ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner. They will also have experience working in a professional creative agency or marketing environment and a basic understanding of content formats and requirements across social channels.

The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and presentation skills, and a willingness to collaborate and follow creative direction. They will also have a hunger to learn and develop through mentorship and be committed to fostering an inclusive and dynamic working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging advertising campaigns and social media ideas
  • Collaborate with the Senior Content Creative to deliver a wide variety of advertising campaigns and social ideas
  • Work closely with content creators and editors to bring ideas to life
  • Develop and maintain a strong portfolio of work
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of creative ideas

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Advertising, Communications or Creative Writing
  • Experience in a professional creative agency or marketing environment
  • A basic understanding of content formats and requirements across social channels
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A willingness to collaborate and follow creative direction
  • A hunger to learn and develop through mentorship
