Data Expert Trainer

The company is looking for a highly skilled Data Expert Trainer to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality training programs that make complex data concepts accessible to customers, partners, and internal teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and teach comprehensive data training courses to onboard customers and partners to the cloud-based data warehouse platform
  • Cross-train qualified individuals and resources on advanced technical topics in data warehousing, SQL, and integration
  • Apply industry expertise and experience during training sessions to help customers ease their organizations into the Snowflake data warehouse
  • Deliver training materials and hands-on exercises to Snowflake end-users; drive continuous improvement of training performance

Requirements:

  • Strong background in data warehousing and serving platforms
  • Recent experience with using SQL, including in complex workloads
  • 4-10 years of experience in technical content development and delivery
  • Ability to design engaging training programs and materials
  • Prior experience with other databases (e.g., Oracle, IBM Netezza, Teradata)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Innovative and assertive, with the ability to pick up new technologies quickly
  • Track record of delivering results in a dynamic environment

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with creating and delivering large-scale training programs
  • Familiarity with non-relational platforms and tools for large-scale data processing (e.g., Hadoop, HBase)
  • Understanding of common BI and data exploration tools (e.g., Microstrategy, Business Objects, Tableau)
