Kitchen Management Opportunity at Kingpin North Strathfield

Kingpin is a leading entertainment and leisure group, operating over 90 venues across Australia and New Zealand. We are currently seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Kingpin North Strathfield.

About the Role:

  • Lead and manage the kitchen operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase staff engagement.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the kitchen team.
  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient inventory management and minimize waste.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional results.
  2. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring consistency and attention to detail throughout the menu.
  3. Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems, minimizing waste and optimizing stock levels.
  4. Collaborate with the venue manager to develop and implement marketing campaigns, promotions, and events to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
  5. Maintain accurate records and reports, including inventory levels, staff performance, and customer feedback.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing staff engagement.
  • Able to work under pressure, think critically, and make sound decisions quickly.
