Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Primary Education Tutor to join our team at the Kip McGrath Education Centre in Forest Lake. As an educator with a passion for teaching, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational services to our students.

Job Responsibilities
  • Teach primary school subjects in a small group setting, focusing on individualized learning programs.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve overall educational outcomes.
Requirements
  • A teaching degree or currently in the final year of your degree.
  • A valid Working with Children Check.
  • A Right to Work in Australia.
  • Reliability, high attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work afternoon/evenings.
  • A friendly, professional, and personable manner.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A positive and vibrant personality that inspires and motivates students.
  • Confidence in using software and computers.
  • Ability and willingness to teach both face-to-face in our Forest Lake centre and online, as required by management after completing the training requirements.
Salary and Benefits
