About this role

At the YMCA Brisbane, we are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic OSHC Educator to join our Marsden Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service. As an OSHC Educator, you will be responsible for the care and education of primary school children before and after school, as well as during school holiday periods.

Key responsibilities

  • Care for children and engage them in fun, stimulating, and safe activities
  • Assist in running activities, such as cooking, sport, music, art, dance, and more
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Contribute to a child-centred and child-led program that promotes diversity and inclusion

Requirements

  • Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor degree in children's services or a related field
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Positive Notice Blue Card or willingness to obtain one
