
Assembly Operations Manager

Waverley Social Enterprises seeks a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of their production line, providing hands-on support to employees, and ensuring quality product delivery in an engaging and fun work environment.
Responsibilities- Coordinate job setup to ensure requirements are met and understood by the team.
- Continuously evaluate production line setup to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements using Lean principles and best practices.
- Coordinate customer site visits for job completion and manage customer requirements while on-site.
- Conduct regular product and process inspections, addressing any issues that may affect product quality.
- Provide technical upskilling and training to employees in alignment with task requirements and development goals.
- Complete accurate job records and documentation as per process and system requirements.
- A current NDIS screening check or willingness to complete one.
- A relevant qualification in a related discipline.
- Ideal: Cert III in disability or community support or equivalent experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Sound experience in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Teams, and ERP software (if applicable).
- Customer Service orientation.
- Excellent planning, organizing, and negotiation skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset utilizing Lean principles and other best practices.
- Current Driver's License.
