Chief Interpreter Coordinator

The Booking Coordinator is a vital role in the efficient coordination of interpreting services at Northern Health. Their primary responsibilities include allocating resources, scheduling interpreters' shifts, communicating interpreter attendance and following up on agency bookings.
This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring that our patients receive high-quality care by providing timely and effective communication services.
Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications and scheduling software
- Familiarity with medical language services
- Understanding of interpreter's role in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse patient healthcare encounters
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare procedures
