This exciting opportunity for a Customer-Facing MR Driver exists at our Laverton North Branch, where you will play a pivotal role in servicing and expanding our business. Our diverse client base means routes vary daily, but remain within the Melbourne CBD.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual who can work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment with a mix of physical, driving, and customer service duties.

  • Drive a manual truck throughout the Melbourne CBD five days a week.
  • Establish and maintain outstanding relationships with customers through exceptional delivery and collection services.
  • Deliver and collect our recognisable orange recycling bins safely, courteously, and on time.
  • Navigate assigned routes effectively using PDA's (training provided).
  • Load and unload vehicles efficiently.
  • Perform and record daily vehicle inspections to ensure ongoing safety.
  • Accurately complete PDA transactions for all assigned deliveries and collections.

Requirements

  • One year's experience as a manual truck driver.
  • Familiarity with navigating around the Melbourne CBD.
  • Prior experience in courier-type roles, particularly those involving multiple pick-ups and drop-offs, is highly regarded.
  • A valid medium rigid (MR) truck license with a good driving history record.
  • A strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Safe manual handling skills.
  • The ability to work hard, be punctual, and reliable.
  • The capacity to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
