About Qube Bulk: The Qube Bulk division specializes in comprehensive solutions for the mining sector, encompassing transportation, storage, and shipping services. We manage an impressive volume of over 85 million tonnes annually, dealing with a variety of bulk materials including ores, concentrates, and coal. Our commitment to safety and innovation is reflected in our advanced fleet management systems and rigorous engineering standards.
Position Overview: We are in search of dedicated MC Drivers who prioritize safety to become part of the Qube Bulk workforce, operating from our Moura depot. Our fleet features primarily new Kenworth C509 trucks along with a selection of Kenworth T659 vehicles. Our AAB Quad trailers are meticulously maintained and equipped for optimal performance.
What We Offer: We provide competitive pay along with allowances such as travel compensation and shared lodging for employees who reside outside the region. Local employees benefit from housing allowances to support their rental or mortgage costs. This role involves operating AAB Quad configurations to transport coal from designated sites to specified locations via both public and private roads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with regulations.
- Complete necessary documentation, including pre-and post-operation checks, logbooks, and timesheets.
- Foster a positive workplace culture and contribute to team morale.
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid MC driver's license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
- Strong mechanical skills and understanding.
- Family-friendly roster: 5 days on, 5 nights on, followed by 10 days off.
Preferred Qualifications: While not mandatory, the following qualifications are advantageous and training can be provided for suitable candidates:
- BFM Accreditation
- Standard 11 Certification
- Current Coal Board Medical
- Experience with 18-speed road ranger transmissions
- Experience operating side tipper trailers
