About Us

We are a multi-disciplinary teaching facility that offers a wide range of services, including general practice, referral services, and emergency care. Our well-equipped hospital provides a variety of diagnostic and laboratory equipment, allowing us to offer high-quality patient care.

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to lead and grow our Emergency and Critical Care Service. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide optimal care to patients and clients, while also participating in clinical tuition and mentorship of veterinary students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow our Emergency and Critical Care Service
  • Provide clinical tuition and mentorship to veterinary students
  • Participate in regular team meetings to improve practice standards and develop the ECC service
  • Organize journal clubs, clinician rounds, and tutorials for ECC veterinarians

Requirements

  • Veterinary science degree available for registration in Queensland
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Small Animal Veterinarian, with at least 2 years in the ECC sector
  • Membered (or equivalent) in emergency and critical care
  • Exemplary leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Desire to develop progressive practice and contribute to practice growth
