Job Opportunity: Field Research Officer

Roy Morgan Research is seeking a reliable and self-motivated Field Research Officer to join our team. As a Field Research Officer, you will be responsible for conducting face-to-face interviews with households in and around Mackay as part of a long-running government travel study.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Approach pre-selected addresses and recruit households to participate in the study
  • Complete a short questionnaire with each household and place travel diaries with household members
  • Make appointments to return to households and assist in completing the travel diaries
  • Have the ability to learn how to use a tablet and accurately record outcomes of every call on the tablet

Requirements:

  • Weekend and weekday availability, including 2 required weekday evening shifts
  • A National Police Check or willingness to obtain
  • A reliable car and current driver's license
  • A mobile phone and email address
  • Basic to intermediate understanding of computers, mobile phones, or tablets
  • Interviewing experience desired but not necessary
  • A clean and presentable appearance with a professional and friendly attitude
