Financial Analyst Position

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in managing expenses, preparing financial reports and providing insights to support business decisions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage overall 'expenses' general ledger and cost centre in the financial system, ensuring accurate and timely capture of expense accruals.

2. Analyse monthly expense results, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and provide commentary reports to management.

3. Develop and maintain expense allocation models, incorporating company-wide time and effort studies.

4. Prepare monthly reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve financial performance.

6. Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including internal and external clients.

7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to improve processes and systems.

8. Develop and deliver high-quality financial reports, presentations and analyses to support business decisions.

9. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

10. Provide training and support to colleagues on financial systems and processes.

Requirements:

1. Degree qualified in Accounting and/or Financial Management with full CPA/CA membership status, or working towards the program.

2. 3 – 5 years of commercial experience.

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

5. Proficient in use of MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel with advance skills and PowerPoint, TM1, PeopleSoft and Cognos applications.
